About
Molly is a multi-disciplinary creative who believes in the power of unfiltered storytelling. She found her spark for performance as a teenager with the Queensland Theatre Youth Ensemble, where she first realised how much stories can shape the way we see ourselves and others.
Her journey hasn’t always been straightforward, Molly lives with endometriosis, and navigating the physical demands of performance has made her even more committed to creating space for resilience, vulnerability, and women’s voices in her work.
Molly graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from QUT, minoring in screenwriting, and went on to be part of projects that travelled from Aussie stages to international festivals, including the award-winning theatre show Hello Stranger, the international production Art of Courage, and the SXSW-selected short film Blood Sisters. After moving to Tasmania, she joined productions like Past the Shallows and began building her producing practice.
Now based in Sydney, Molly is currently developing new screen projects. Her creative focus lies in telling female-driven and working-class stories that reflect the grit, humour, and complexity of real life. Molly is passionate about making the arts more accessible and supportive for young women and creatives living with chronic health conditions.
